After Covid-19 made its debut around the world and forced people to be quarantined for 3 months, Denise, Matt, Matthew, and Emily Kness decided it was time to take a chance and start a business which leveraged each of their individual talents! Denise studied fashion in NYC at Tobe Coburn and in London before traveling to France, Italy and Spain to develop a global perspective of style. She then spent 13 years on 7th Avenue, NYC’s fabled fashion district as a junior sportswear fashion sales executive before retiring to raise her family. Matt is an experienced business owner, a wiz at math and can spot a new trend from a mile away. Their children, Matthew and Emily, both college students, returned home in March to help flatten the curve. Emily is a field hockey player and a business major. She has been a professional on-line shopper for years, they certainly have the PayPal bills to prove it! Matthew is a rising senior and an international business major, volunteer firefighter and a lacrosse player. They both wanted to take advantage of this unprecedented time together. Being at home left ample time and opportunity to try something new and exciting. No better internship than to start your own business in the comfort of your home! The whole family believes in being comfortable and stylish in any situation. It’s just their way of life!

We want to help women Launch their best life one style at a time! We also want to give back! For every BE KIND t-shirt that is sold we will make a donation to the Alliance for Safe Kids organization which works tirelessly to provide anti-bullying, drug education and mental first aid programs for the youth of our community. Empowering woman to feel confident and reach for the stars one outfit at a time will always be our main goal!
